Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 2026 | Effective Immediately

1. Educational Purpose & Disclaimer of Warranties

All tutorials, schematics, pinout guides, code repositories, and documentation published on BlinkNBuild (https://blinknbuild.in) are provided solely for educational, experimental, and informational maker purposes. While we bench-test our circuits on physical hardware, electronics prototyping inherently involves physical variables including power supply ripple, soldering quality, wire inductance, and component tolerances.

ALL MATERIALS, FIRMWARE CODE, AND HARDWARE SCHEMATICS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

2. Electrical, Battery & Physical Safety Liability Waiver

By using this website, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for observing appropriate workshop safety protocols, including eye protection, fire safety equipment, proper ventilation, and using fused, current-limited bench power supplies.
  • You will never connect unprotected mains AC line voltages (110V/230V) to relay modules or microcontrollers without certified electrical training and high-voltage isolation safeguards.
  • BlinkNBuild, its founders, and contributors shall NOT be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, personal injuries, property damages, or component destruction resulting from the assembly, experimentation, or deployment of any circuit or code found on this platform.

3. Intellectual Property & Open-Source Code Licenses

Original written articles, custom graphics, video walkthroughs, and brand assets on BlinkNBuild are protected under international copyright law.

Source code snippets and firmware provided in our build guides are released under permissive open-source licenses (MIT or Apache 2.0 unless explicitly specified otherwise). You are granted a non-exclusive license to study, compile, modify, and adapt the code for academic, personal, and hackathon prototypes. Redistribution of verbatim tutorial text without attribution is prohibited.

4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use BlinkNBuild or any code provided herein to:

  • Develop, test, or distribute malicious firmware payloads, automated exploit devices, or disruptive network interference tools.
  • Perform automated scraping, denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, or vulnerability probing against BlinkNBuild infrastructure.
  • Misrepresent affiliation with or endorsement by BlinkNBuild in commercial hardware sales.

5. External Links & Third-Party Platforms

Our guides link to external platforms, including hackathon organizers (Devfolio, Unstop, MLH), component suppliers, GitHub repositories, and YouTube. BlinkNBuild exercises no control over external content or third-party privacy practices and accepts no liability for third-party interactions.

6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall BlinkNBuild or its creators be liable for any aggregate damages exceeding the amount of one hundred Indian Rupees (INR 100). You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BlinkNBuild and its creators from any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, or legal expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of any circuit or firmware provided on this site.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or related to the use of BlinkNBuild shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Karnataka, India.

8. Third-Party Trademarks & Nominative Fair Use

All company, brand, product, and service names, logos, registered trademarks, and unregistered marks referenced across BlinkNBuild (including, but not limited to, Qualcomm, Intel, NVIDIA, Apple, AMD, Arm, Synopsys, Cadence, Texas Instruments, Xilinx, Altera, Lattice Semiconductor, SkyWater Technology, Google, STMicroelectronics, Espressif, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Devfolio) are the intellectual property of their respective trademark holders.

Reference to these entities or marks on BlinkNBuild is strictly for educational context, identification, technical commentary, and nominative fair use. Such reference does not constitute or imply an endorsement, sponsorship, recommendation, or affiliation between BlinkNBuild and the trademark holders, nor does it imply that any trademark holder endorses or is affiliated with BlinkNBuild. All curriculum materials, interview vaults, and architecture guides are original educational syntheses authored by BlinkNBuild for independent study and research.
